Announcements

  1. We have Sunday Night $2 Dinner in Newman Hall every Sunday at 5:30PM, when Purdue is in session. Please join us for food and fellowship then head on upstairs for the 7:00PM Sunday Mass.
  2. The parish office will be closed this Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
  3. Bishop Robert Barron's DVD study series - Pivotal Players- returns the next two Mondays, January 29 and February 5 with a discussion of St. Francis of Assisi. Free dinner for participants will be offered at 6:00PM, with the DVD and discussion in Newman Hall immediately following dinner.
  4. All student and resident parishioners interested in participating in a spring break mission trip MUST attend the callout this Wednesday, January 17 at 7:30PM in Newman Hall.  Individuals with conflicts must contact dee@boilercatholics.org prior to the meeting to be considered for a trip.
  5. All are welcome to an evening of Latin music, dance, and culture at St. Tom's this Saturday, January 20th, beginning at 8:00PM! There will be free dance lessons from the Purdue Salsa Club and live music from Salsa Chicago Mambo All-Stars.
  6. The Greater Lafayette Catholic Parishes are traveling together to the Indiana March for Life on Monday, January 22nd. We have 10 spots on the bus that we need to fill. Please contact matthew@boilercatholics.org to reserve your spot. Cost is $20 or $5 for students. Please see the bulletin for more the itinerary and more details.
  7. St. Tom's 6th Annual HowTo Festival is nearly here! Come Saturday, January 27th from 10:00AM-3:00PM. You can find a number of wonderful skills to add to your repertoire. Learn to Waltz with Elizabeth Hendrickson or winemaking with Brent Russel. Maybe you find interest in the art of wood burning? There are plenty of sessions to attend. Join us for this wonderful, free and educational event.
