LifeGuides
The LifeGuides are a team of college students and confirmed high school students who are committed to assisting the youth of the St. Tom's parish. They are instrumental in the planning, organizing and implementation of the activities for the youth. The individuals involved in LifeGuides share their faith through the service projects, retreats, and REI events.

Your Interns for the 2011-12 School Year
Primary Elementary Intern: Yvonne Rush
Hi my name is Yvonne Rush, and I am a junior in Interior Design. This is my second year working with the religious education department at St. Tom’s. My first year I assisted Michael Plake, the director of religious education, and I was also a 4th grade catechist. I enjoy spending my free time with friends and family.
Upper Elementary Intern: Katy Redmon
Hello! My name is Katy Redmon and I am interning for grades second through fifth. I am a sophomore studying Bio – Genetics with a minor in Psychology. This is my second year with the LifeGuide Program and my third year teaching religious education. If I’m not hanging around St. Tom’s or the library I am usually with my friends or family. Middle School Intern: Tim Duket
Hello! My name is Tim Duket and I am a junior majoring in Industrial Engineering with minors in Spanish and Mathematics. In my free time I love seeing my family, being outside with friends, and doing anything that involves music. This is my third year with the Lifeguide program and I am so excited to be stepping into the intern position for grades 6 through 8, please feel free to contact me at any time. God bless!
Confirmation Intern: Patrick Laorden
Top of the morning to ya! My name is Patrick Laorden, a senior majoring in pharmaceutical sciences, with minors in biological sciences and chemistry. I am excited to be on board as your Confirmation Intern this year and will do my best to serve St. Tom’s and its people. Please do not hesitate to contact with me any questions or concerns, and rest assured I will get back to you ASAP. I spend lot of my time running, playing ultimate Frisbee, or being outside in general. Otherwise, you can find me at St. Toms being your average church mouse
Youth Group Intern: Cortney Baird
Hi, my name is Cortney Baird and I am a junior majoring in Pharmacy. This will be my fifth year of teaching religious education and my third year here at St. Toms.
