Dominican Laity
The Dominican Laity is an official branch of the Dominican Family and is compromised of lay people, men, women, married or single, within their particular circumstances of family and profession, who focus their lives on the four pillars of Dominican life: Prayer, Study, Community and Ministry. We meet the first Saturday of each month at 10:00am - NOON. We also partake in a dinner meeting once a month.

Birth of Mary (September 8, 2010)The Church has celebrated Mary's birth since at least the sixth century. A September birth was chosen because the Eastern Church begins its Church year with September. The September 8 date helped determine the date for the feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8 (nine months earlier).
